Project Background
Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa with a massive construction industry, and the demand for scaffolding steel pipes remains consistently stable. Traditional black pipes cannot adapt to the local tropical climate, as the joints are prone to rust, which affects pipe-to-pipe connections and creates safety hazards. Therefore, galvanized scaffolding pipes have long been a very suitable solution.

Customer Background
The customer is a local construction contractor. Previously, his old scaffolding had been scrapped in large quantities. At the same time, he had just won a municipal library expansion project and needed to purchase a large amount of new pipes. Considering that galvanized scaffolding pipes can be reused, the customer began searching for suppliers online. After learning about our product certifications, production capacity, delivery lead time, and past export cases, he decided to cooperate with us.
Production Process
We strictly followed international construction site safety standards throughout the entire production process.
Using our own Q235B steel strips, we first weld the ends together, then roll them into a circular shape and use ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) to produce straight seam pipes, ensuring uniform welds with no missed welding. The pipes are then cut into 6-meter lengths and finally continuously hot-dip galvanized, ensuring a smooth and firmly adhered zinc coating capable of withstanding prolonged sun exposure and rain.

Quality Control
After production, our QC department conducts specialized quality inspection steps, including measurement of inner and outer diameters, wall thickness, zinc coating thickness, and straightness, as well as salt spray corrosion testing and pressure-bearing performance testing. All inspections ensure that the pipe diameter fits perfectly with the customer’s standard couplers.
Packaging and Delivery
The packaging method specified by the customer was hexagonal (honeycomb) bundling. Steel straps are applied on the outside for fixing, and plastic pipe caps are installed at both ends to protect the pipe openings. We perform compact container loading to maximize space utilization and save logistics costs for the customer.
Customer Feedback
The customer put these pipes into use this week and is very satisfied with our service and quality. This was a pleasant and effective cooperation.
