1×1 Aluminum Square Tubing, also known as 1″ aluminum square tube, is an aluminum square tube with a cross-section of 25.4mm × 25.4mm. It is extruded, seamless throughout with no weld seam, and is a small cross-section general-purpose model. Its main features are light weight, corrosion resistance, and easy processing. It can be directly cut, drilled, bent, welded, and anodized.
Glory Steel is a professional manufacturer and supplier of 1×1 aluminum square tubing. Our main materials are 6061-T6 and 6063-T5/T52. We provide all wall thicknesses, as well as machining services and surface coating services.

Features
- Lightweight and High Rigidity: The weight is approximately 1/3 that of a 1×1 black steel square tube of the same wall thickness, making handling and installation easy. The square shape also provides good torsional resistance.
- Excellent Corrosion Resistance: The aluminum alloy surface has a natural oxide film that resists air and most chemical media.
- Excellent Decorative Properties: Brushed, matte, and polished finishes are available, along with colored surfaces for a high-end, aesthetic look.
- Balanced Overall Performance: 6061-T6 material has a tensile strength of over 310MPa, with a normal outdoor service life of over 10 years. The cost is much lower than stainless steel square tubing, offering outstanding value.

Main Surface Treatments
- Mill Finish: The most basic state, matte texture, best cost-performance.
- Anodized: Hard oxide film on the surface, available in silver, black, gold, and other colors.
- Polished/Brushed: Fine and bright, premium texture, used for high-end luxury applications.

Theoretical Weight Calculation Formula
W (kg/m) = [2 × (A + B) – 4t] × t × 0.00271
A = side length (mm), B = side length (mm), t = wall thickness (mm)

FAQ
Q1: How to choose between 6061 and 6063 aluminum square tubing?
A: For appearance, easy processing, and low cost, choose 6063; for high strength, high stability, and load-bearing and deformation-resistant industrial applications, prioritize 6061-T6 material.
Q2: Can aluminum square tubing be used outdoors for a long time?
A: Raw aluminum tubing has basic weather resistance and can be used outdoors short-term; for long-term outdoor use, anodizing or coating treatment is recommended.
Q3: Do you support custom processing?
A: Yes. We support cut-to-length, small-quantity cutting, deburring, drilling, slotting, bending, and surface coloring as needed.
Q4: What is the core difference between aluminum square tubing and steel square tubing?
A: Aluminum square tubing is lighter, does not rust, and has better appearance quality. Steel square tubing has higher strength, stronger load-bearing capacity, and requires galvanizing or painting for corrosion protection.
