On June 19, Glory Steel completed the shipment of Q235 steel pipes to a client in the UAE. The client has since taken delivery and put the materials into use; the shipment utilized four 40-foot high-cube (40HQ) containers.

Client Background
The client is a local manufacturer of light steel structural systems, supplying steel structures for projects such as schools and industrial plants. They required significant quantities of materials—including secondary beams for framing, roof supports, and enclosure framing—and, upon learning that we could supply all the items on their list, provided us with detailed specifications and requirements.
Order Details
1. SCH40 Square Pipe
2. SCH40 Rectangular Tube
3. SCH40 Welded Round Tube
4. Z-Section Steel
All steel pipes are to be cut to a fixed length of 6m per customer requirements. Total weight: 110 tons.

Production Process and Standards
Q235B hot-rolled strip steel is used as the raw material for both the steel pipes and Z-section steel.
- For welded pipes, we utilize the ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) longitudinal welding process. Square and rectangular tubes are produced in accordance with the GB/T 6728 standard, while round tubes comply with the ASME B36.10M standard.
- Z-section steel is produced via cold-roll forming; using a complete cold-forming production line, the steel strip is gradually shaped into a Z-profile at room temperature through continuous roller forming, resulting in a seamless product.

Quality and Inspection
All product batches are manufactured and inspected in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
We conduct raw material testing and implement comprehensive online monitoring, using surveillance systems to observe weld quality in real-time.
Finished products undergo full inspection, covering—but not limited to—side length, wall thickness, straightness, hydrostatic testing, and visual appearance.

Packaging and Shipping
Packaging is carried out according to customer specifications:
- Round pipes are bundled in a hexagonal shape, with each bundle weighing between 2 and 2.5 metric tons.
- Square and rectangular pipes are neatly bundled and stacked on timber supports.
- Z-shaped steel sections are bundled with protective film layering.
All pipes are sorted and loaded into four 40HQ containers, with a mix of light and heavy specifications to optimize loading.
Total cargo weight is verified at 110 metric tons.

Application Results
The client reports that the Q235 black pipes are currently being used in on-site construction. They demonstrate excellent compatibility with carbon steel seamless elbows and perform well during welding, offering superior load-bearing capacity. The client intends to place repeat orders for Q235 round and square pipes.
