Recently, Glory Steel completed a cooperative order from a Brazilian customer for 520 tons of multi-specification ASTM A53 Grade B hot-rolled seamless steel pipes, shipped in 20 40HQ high cube containers, with each container carrying a weight of less than 26 tons.

Project Background
The client undertook a 120-kilometer water and gas pipeline project in the São Paulo region of Brazil. As the project required large quantities of cost-effective, high-quality carbon steel pipes for general fluid transportation, he was searching for reliable suppliers worldwide. When he contacted our factory, he provided detailed specifications regarding material quality, dimensional accuracy, and packaging standards. After we shared our successful export cases and production capabilities to Brazil, the client was fully assured and confirmed the cooperation.

Seamless steel pipe production in Brazil project
We strictly control incoming raw materials, conduct 100% flaw detection on all steel billets, and adopt a two-roll skew rolling piercing process to pierce solid billets into hollow tubes. This is followed by continuous rolling, sizing, and straightening. Finally, we optimize the material’s mechanical properties through heat treatment to fully comply with ASTM A53/A53M Grade B requirements.
Strict Quality Inspection
- Dimensional Accuracy Inspection: All outer diameters, wall thicknesses, and lengths are randomly sampled and inspected using calibrated vernier calipers and ultrasonic thickness gauges.
- Hydraulic Pressure Testing: Pressure testing is conducted strictly in accordance with ASTM A53 standards to fully ensure the pipe’s pressure resistance and structural integrity.
- Surface and Flaw Detection Inspection: Surface defects are visually inspected, and non-destructive testing (UT/MT) is performed on critical sections to eliminate internal flaws.
- Shipping and Logistics: Glory Steel completes all production and inspection within 35 days, loading 520 tons of pipes into 20 x 40HQ high cube containers for on-time loading and shipment, and providing customers with end-to-end logistics tracking information.
