Material Grade Classification
- 304: The most common austenitic stainless steel, containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel, possessing excellent corrosion resistance.
- 304L: A low-carbon version of 304, with a carbon content ≤0.03%, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding.
- 316: Based on 304, approximately 2%-3% molybdenum is added, significantly improving resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
- 316L: A low-carbon variant of 316, combining resistance to chloride ion corrosion and weldability, suitable for harsh environments.
- 430: An economical ferritic stainless steel with good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and is magnetic.
- 409L: A more economical titanium-stabilized ferritic stainless steel, known for its excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation and thermal fatigue.
- 2205: A typical duplex stainless steel, with corrosion resistance approaching that of austenitic steel and strength nearly twice that of 304.
- 2507: Super duplex stainless steel, with excellent resistance to chloride pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion, and also has higher strength.


Manufacturing Process
Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe
Formed from steel billets through piercing and cold drawing/hot rolling, it has no weld seams, high strength, and is suitable for high-pressure and fluid transportation.
Welded Stainless Steel Pipe
Formed from cold-rolled steel strip and then subjected to resistance welding (ERW), submerged arc welding (LSAW), argon arc welding/gas metal arc welding (TIG/MIG), or high-frequency welding. It has a smooth surface, lower cost, and is used for medium and low-pressure applications.

Connection and Installation
- Welded type: Primarily argon arc welding, requires professional welders. The weld seam needs inert gas protection; otherwise, it is prone to oxidation and rust.
- Double-clamp type: Uses specialized hydraulic clamps to apply radial pressure to the pipe fitting, compressing the internal O-ring seal for lifelong leak prevention. No welding required, high installation efficiency, suitable for residential and public buildings.
- Ring-clamp type: A raised ring is rolled onto the pipe end and then clamped. Removable, suitable for industrial systems requiring ongoing maintenance.
